Women at War

Harvest Festival

Sunday 24th September: 0930

Come, ye thankful people, come raise the song of harvest home.

9.30am: Family Communion.
Celebrant: The Revd Juliette Hulme.

Come and celebrate Harvest and join in the singing of favourite seasonal hymns such as ‘We plough the fields and scatter’.

We invite you to bring for our Harvest Thanksgiving service tins and other non-perishable food items for the Trussell Trust. The charity welcomes donations of non-perishable goods such as cereal, soup, pasta, rice, tinned tomatoes/pasta sauce, lentils, beans and pulses, tinned meat, tinned fruit and vegetables, tea/coffee, biscuits, UHT milk and fruit juice, sugar, sponge puddings, small chocolate treats, baby foods, personal hygiene products and toiletries etc.

There will be a collection during the service in aid of Farms for City Children UK, a charity which enables children from disadvantaged communities to experience the adventure of working together on our farms in the heart of the British countryside.
