St Johns Primary School
church and school linked
St. John’s Primary School in Tisbury is a Church of England Controlled School within the Diocese of Salisbury. The school has strong links with St John’s Church. The children enjoy regular sessions called Open the Book, presented by members of St John’s Church.
The children take part in services at the church throughout the year, at Easter, Harvest and Christmas. A special service is held at the end of the school year for the children who are about to leave and go on to secondary school. There is also an annual Christingle service that the children especially enjoy. Some of its pupils are also members of our singing group Tisbury Young Voices.
