Blessing the north porch

A special Choral Evensong which included a Blessing  the newly improved North Porch took place on Saturday September 17th. The service also marked the launch of an appeal to make major improvements to the church.

Returning to Tisbury to preach and perform the blessing was the Right Revd Humphrey Southern, currently Principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon in Oxfordshire. He was Rector of Tisbury from 1999 to 2007.

Sadly, the new glass doors have not yet been installed, having been severely damaged in transit. An installation date is unknown at present.
