Benefice Communion

Hey Judy

25 years as Licensed Lay Minister

More than 150 people were present at a special Eucharist in St John’s Tisbury on 22nd October 2017 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Judy Anderson’s ministry as a Licensed Lay Minister (LLM) – or Lay Readers as they were known.

The Celebrant and Preacher was the Bishop of Salisbury, the Right Revd Nicholas Holtam who paid tribute to Judy’s work not only in the Nadder Valley Benefice but as the Associate Warden of LLMs in the Salisbury Diocese.  Judy regularly leads and preaches at services in churches throughout the benefice, and plays an active part in pastoral and church life of St John’s.

Judy did not go away empty-handed.
