Starfest 2026
Our celebrations
On Sunday 15th March we held two services as part of the StarFest 2026 Festival in Tisbury celebrating the amazing skies above us. Click here for more information about other local StarFest events
Our informal Morning Service combined the theme of StarFest with the traditional celebration of Mothering Sunday.
In our service of Choral Evensong (held regularly on the third Sunday of the month) we celebrated our celestial skies with music by Malcolm Archer, Philip Moore, and Stuart Robinson’s “I wonder as I wander” scored for choir, organ, soprano soloist and flute. It closed the service in darkness, except for fairy lights strung the length of the church and the floodlight beyond from our new east window. More about Choral Evensong here.
