Starfest2026

We’re holding two services on Sunday 15th March as part of the StarFest 2026 Festival celebrating the amazing skies above us.

Our informal Morning Service at 0930, led by Canon Judy Anderson, is a special service, suitable for all ages, combining the theme of StarFest with the traditional celebration of Mothering Sunday.  Children will be invited to make something for their mothers or carers, and there will be posies to give to our loved ones. Do come!

This service replaces our usual 0930 Parish Communion service.  Those who wish are very welcome to join the congregation at St Peter, Swallowcliffe, for their All-Age Communion service at 1115.

In our service of Choral Evensong at 1800 sung St john’s Church Choir, we marvel at our celestial skies with music by Malcolm Archer, Philip Moore, and Stuart Robinson’s “I wonder as I wander” which will close the service in complete darkness, except for the floodlight from our new east window.
