Our new Rector

The Revd Robert Church was licensed and installed in late September as Rector of the Upper Nadder Benefice which includes St John’s.

Robert comes to us after serving as a chaplain in the Royal Navy. Before that he studied at London university and then worked for a short time for an MP in Westminster. He trained for the priesthood at Ripon College Cuddesdon, before spending three years as a curate in the Cotswolds. Robert is married with a young daughter.
