A farewell peal
Wednesday 25th January
The bells of Tisbury Parish Church will ring out on Wednesday 25th May to say farewell to the Vicar, the Revd Andrew Staley, who retires at the end of month. Anthony Lovell Wood, churchwarden and Captain of the Tower writes “This peal will be dedicated to Andrew for all he has achieved as a Team Vicar in the Nadder Valley Benefice.” The peal will start at around 10.45am and will take approximately three hours.”
We are always on the lookout for more bell-ringers. It’s a good social activity and with fitness on many minds at the moment – our ringing chamber could be called the Gym in the Tower. If you’re interested in finding out more, please contact the Parish Office.
