Dedication of window
in memoriam Hank & Juliet Bowen
On Sunday 9th June, our celebration of the Feast of Pentecost had an extra dimension: the dedication of the Bowen Memorial Window in the South Aisle.The restoration of this window has been financed by the family of the late Hank and Juliet Bowen in their memory.
Hank – pictured here a few days before his death on 20th July 2017 – along with his wife Juliet who pre-deceased him were active and supportive members of the congregation. For many years Hank was Chairman of the committees running the Hinton Hall and Focus magazine, and latterly Juliet was Editor of Focus.
The entire window was restored and moved earlier in 2019 from its previous position next to the organ, so that it would not be affected by the building in due course, of an extension on the south side of the church.
