Advent Collection

Every Advent, we raise money for a nominated charity through Collection Boxes.  This year’s chosen cause is the Save the Children Fund Syria Appeal.  The collection boxes are available to take away from church and should be returned by Sunday December 18th. If you are a tax payer, you can gift aid your collection if you wish and envelopes are supplied for that purpose.

According to the charity:

£30 could fund four post-natal medical visits for a new mother

£60 could buy four heaters for two families to keep them warm

£100 could buy one month’s food for a family of six.
