Licensing of Revd Robert Church as Rector

We are delighted that the Revd Robert Church will be licensed as Rector of the Upper Nadder Benefice on Tuesday 22nd September at 7.00pm at St John’s, Tisbury SP3 6NH. He will be instituted and inducted by the Rt Revd Karen Gorham, Bishop of Sherborne and Acting Bishop of Salisbury, and installed by the Ven Louise Ellis, Archdeacon of Wilts. Bishop Karen will preach.

Robert comes to us after serving as a chaplain in the Royal Navy. Before that he studied at London university and then worked for a short time for an MP in Westminster. He trained for the priesthood at Ripon College Cuddesdon, before spending three years as a curate in the Cotswolds. Robert is married with a young daughter.
