Salisbury Baroque
Sunday 28th January: 1500
Salisbury Baroque will be coming to St John’s Tisbury on Sunday 28 January at 3pm to give a concert in St Andrew’s Chapel. The concert will largely consist of works by two of the most influential composers of the Baroque period – Handel and Telemann, and it will be introduced and narrated by Angus Menzies. Admission is free – there will be a retiring collection in aid of our Development Fund. Read more about our development plans
Salisbury Baroque was founded in 2010 and gives three concerts a year in Salisbury or Wilton. This will be the first time that they have performed further afield. Members play on instruments from the baroque period (approximately 1630 to 1760) or on modern copies.
