Remembrance Sunday arrangements in Tisbury are as follows:

Sunday 10th November 2024

2.45pm. Wreath-laying ceremony at the village War Memorial which includes the Silence, the Last Post and Reveille and the laying of wreaths by representatives of local organisations.

followed by

An inter-denominational service in St John’s Church nearby.  The service is led by Canon Judy Anderson, Licensed Lay Minister,  and the preacher is Father Jonathan Creer, Priest in Residence at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Tisbury.  Prayers will be led by a member of the Methodist Church.  Hymns include “O God our help in ages past” and “Dear Lord and Father of mankind”.
